Your day begins with a trip out to Mazzano Romano. Located a short drive away from the bustling center of Rome is the medieval village of Mazzano, an oasis of calm and beauty and the setting for your cooking class. Steeped in natural beauty, Mazzano with its clean environment is a popular retreat for many Roman families looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Rome’s city center.
After arrival in Mazzano, your chef will take you on a walking tour so you can appreciate the beauty of the village and see where the local Roman city dwellers escape. During your walking tour, you’ll discover more about the local food shops, market and history of Mazzano seeing life through a local’s eyes.
After your walk, head back to the cooking school for your cooking lesson which lasts for around 3-4 hours after which you’ll sit down together and eat the delicious meal you’ve learned to cook accompanied by local wines from the region.
This cooking course concentrates on techniques and skills to make fresh, seasonal Italian dishes and rather than focusing on working from a recipe, your Chef will give you the confidence to create your own dishes for a typical Italian menu from anti pasta to dessert.
After you’ve eaten, you’ll be driven back to the center of Rome, with new skills and knowledge that will stay with you long after your trip is over.
Meeting point will be at a central location. Details will be provided in final documents.
