Step off the beaten path and explore Florence’s lesser-known streets, where centuries-old buchette del vino—small wine windows in noble palaces—reveal a fascinating glimpse into the city’s past. These restored openings once served wine directly to locals and now offer a unique connection to Florentine history.

Begin at Piazza della Repubblica, the heart of ancient Roman Florence, then wind through the historic center with your guide, uncovering forgotten legends and secret corners. Pause at the Loggia del Porcellino to rub the bronze boar’s nose for luck and hear its story.

Wander down Via delle Terme to spot the iconic wine windows, then arrive at Piazza del Limbo—one of Florence’s oldest squares—for a surprise tasting of a traditional Tuscan treat.

Cross the Ponte Vecchio and trace the Medici’s footsteps along the Vasari Corridor. In the authentic Oltrarno district, discover some hidden wine windows and the stories they hold, offering a perfect mix of history, culture, and photo-worthy charm.
