Arrive in Rome at Fiumicino Airport.  Your private driver will bring you to your Rome hotel.  Rest up and grab some food.  Tomorrow begins your exploration of Italy!

Explore the most important sites of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with skip the line access!

Then this evening see the most famous sights of Rome in a new light on this night walking tour visiting the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, Pantheon (outside visit) and Piazza Navona. You will also have the chance to enjoy a typical Italian Aperitivo, as the locals do, with a nice glass of wine (or something else, should you choose) and a selection of appetizers in one of Rome’s most charming places.

Take a tour of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica, and St. Peter's Square. Enjoy No Wait Access and small groups for the best Vatican experience.

The afternoon and evening are at leisure.  Want to see more of Rome?  Check out our other Day Tours in Rome and feel free to add them to your itinerary.  We suggest joining one of our food tours to sample real Roman street food, less-known meats and cheeses, and amazing wine in a secret cellar (not included in the package price).

You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Rome train station for your high-speed train ride to Naples. Once you've arrived in Naples, you will be met at the train station and taken to your hotel in Sorrento with a stop in Pompeii.

Imagine, a city perfectly preserved as it was on that fateful day 2,000-years-ago, when ash and lava literally stopped it in its tracks. You'll see the tragic fossils of people attempting to escape along with children and dogs.

Sail across the bay of Sorrento for the start of an unforgettable day. For such a small an island, about 4 miles long and 2 miles wide, Capri has had much said, sung and written about it. Enjoy a guided walking tour of Capri and Anacapri with their chic town centers, shops, hotels and restaurants along winding streets. The main square Piazza Umberto I has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes where you can sit and watch the world drift by. Leading off the square are medieval-looking alleyways and arcades full of shops selling the handicrafts of the island, clothing, jewelry made from coral and gold, shoes and ceramics. Then, head south to admire the famed Faraglioni Rocks.

There is free time for you to go off and shop around the elegant boutiques, stroll along the cobbled streets or simply relax on the beach. There is so much to see and do on this tiny island paradise!

At last, meet your guide again and enjoy a boat ride around the island to admire its splendid caves before heading back to Sorrento

Today you will say goodbye to Sorrento and head to the fountainhead of the Renaissance, Florence!

You will be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Naples train station for your high-speed train ride to Florence. Once you've arrived in Florence, you will be met at the train station and taken to your hotel.

This afternoon visit Pisa and its famous Leaning Tower. In the heart of the city is Piazza dei Miracoli where you will simultaneously see the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, Cathedral, and the Monumental Cemetery. Each of these buildings are stunning in their own way and have unique stories to tell. Be sure to take a photo of you holding up the leaning tower!

Plus, you will have a surprise tasting of a typical product!

Then continue to San Gimignano, famed for its medieval skyscrapers, high walls and narrow streets that typify most people image of a Tuscan hill town. San Gimignano is unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses, which with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form its famed and unforgettable skyline. You will have free time to explore this city as you wish.
