Travel to Murano, a small island world-famous for its glass and visit a traditional glass factory for an unforgettable firsthand experience: a live glass blowing demonstration! Then move on to Burano, famous for its centuries old tradition of lace-making and for its coloruful houses.
Board the fast train to Italy’s Capital City, Rome and get ready to be in awe as you visit its must-sees: from the 2000-year-old Colosseum and the Roman Forums to the Vatican Museums with its impressive collection of art, the stunning Sistine Chapel, and the fascinating St. Peter’s Basilica.

Arrive in Venice at Marco Polo Airport. Your private driver will bring you to your hotel in Venice by private motor boat. Rest up and grab some food.  Tomorrow begins your exploration of Italy!

Join a small group on a fun and informative tour of Venice. This guided walk is a perfect introduction to Venice’s art, history, and traditions. Plus, enjoy a shared gondola ride to see Venice from the water!
Follow your guide through the mysterious cobble stoned streets and bridges, and admire the most beautiful sights and the sumptuous palaces including St. Mark’s square, the Venetian-Byzantine St. Mark’s Basilica (from outside only), the gothic Doge’s Palace (from outside only) and the hauntingly Bridge of Sigh. Then, it
will be time for a well-deserved aperitivo, with a Venetian Spritz, of course!
At the end of the tour, go for a ride on a real Venetian gondola. These light, flat bottomed rowing boats around since the 11th century will take you on a one-of-a kind ride through the canals of Venice!

Escape the crowds of Venice and explore Murano, a small island world-famous for its glass, and Burano, famous for its centuries old tradition of lace-making and for its houses huddled tightly together and each painted a different color.

You will be picked up at your hotel or at the nearest mooring point and transferred by a private motor boat to Venice train station for your high-speed train ride to Rome. Once you've arrived in Rome, you will be met at the train station and taken to your hotel in Rome.

Check in at your hotel. Take a leisurely walk in the historic center and grab a bite to eat, or join our Best of Rome by night tour (not included in the package price).

Explore the most important sights of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with skip the line access. First, visit Rome’s most iconic site, the Colosseum, with your guide who will talk you through the bloody past of the amphitheater, home to gladiators, mock sea-battles and executions. Then, head to the Roman Forum to walk along the “Via Sacra” or “Sacred Way” – the main path through the Roman Forum, which once sparkled with festivals and triumphal processions as Roman armies returned from war. Finally, see the Palatine Hill, the most famous of the Seven Hills of Rome. From here, admire the views of the Roman Forum and Nero’s Circus Maximus where chariot races were once held.
