Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Pienza, Montalcino and many others cities in Val d’Orcia and Chianti will be among the stops. Overnight in boutique hotels and at a spa. During the week, you will also experience the best of Tuscan wine and cuisine with tastings at producers and a vineyard. Enjoy a very special stop in beautiful Volterra and an overnight in Siena, famous for the Palio horse race.

Depart US to Florence, Italy

Arrival in Florence, Transfer to Montepulciano
Arrive at Florence airport and private transfer to the hotel in Montepulciano. Free time to enjoy the spa. Short briefing with the tour guide. Dinner with local specialties and overnight at hotel.
Abbazia Sant’Antimo – Montalcino - about 4 hours
Short transfer from Montepulciano to Abbazia Sant’Antimo (Abbey of Sant'Antimo) in the Montalcino area. You will start with a walking tour through these beautiful Tuscan hills and then you will visit the famous town of Montalcino. You will stop for a nice picnic with traditional food. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight in Montepulciano.
Montepulciano - about 3 hours
Enjoy a beautiful hike around Montepulciano. After that you will visit the gorgeous winery of Casanova di Neri for stunning views and a tasting of Brunello di Montalcino and other famous wines. Relaxing evening with dinner at the hotel in Montepulciano.
Quartaia – San Gimignano - about 5 hours
Short transfer to Quartaia. Your tour starts with a walking tour to San Gimignano known for its many ancient towers. You will stop along the way for a picnic and you will continue with the visit of this medieval town. In the afternoon, you will visit an olive oil mill with an olive oil tasting. Then transfer to your hotel in Colle Val D'Elsa where you will also enjoy your dinner.
Monteriggioni - about 5 hours
Nice walking tour through the soft rolling Tuscan hills. You will see towers, dense forests of oaks, isolated farms, mills and the famous medieval walls of Monteriggioni. You will stop for a picnic in this amazing scenery. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight in Colle Val D'Elsa.
Volterra - about 3 hours
Wonderful trekking along an old railway track that ran from Volterra to Saline famous for its salt extraction. You will continue to Volterra once an important Etruscan center. Here you will visit the Roman Theatre, Palazzo dei Priori with its beautiful square and cathedral. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight in Colle Val D'Elsa.
Monteriggioni – Siena - about 5 hours
Short transfer to Monteriggioni. Then walk along the road in the Sienese hills to the famous city of Siena. You will have the opportunity to see the charming Piazza del Campo, home of the famous Palio di Siena and have lunch in a typical restaurant. Dinner is on your own tonight. Overnight in Siena.
Transfer to Florence, Depart Florence, Italy to US
Your Italy Vacation has come to an end as you transfer from your hotel in Siena to Florence airport and head back home.
