Arrive in Rome at Fiumicino Airport.

Your private driver will bring you to your Rome hotel.  Rest up and get a bite to eat.  Tomorrow begins your exploration of Italy!

Under the guidance of your fun and friendly Italian host Fabio, Monica or Federico, who are passionate about Italian cooking, immerse yourself in Italian life to discover the gastronomic delights of Rome.

The day begins with a walking tour of the chef's favorite food shops leading to the famous Rome outdoor food market - Campo de' Fiori.

Then go to the chef's private apartment where you’ll learn Italian cooking techniques and the skills to cook delicious Italian dishes with a focus on making fresh pasta dishes. The course will teach you the techniques needed to cook different pasta dishes as well as one meat dish (vegetarians can be catered for) that you will be able to use time after time at home.

This morning explore the most important sights of Ancient Rome - the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill with skip the line access.

The afternoon and evening are at leisure.  Want to see more of Rome?  Check out our other Day Tours in Rome and feel free to add them to your itinerary.  We suggest seeing the incredible Borghese Gallery & Gardens (not included in the package price).

Your private driver will meet you at your hotel and bring you to the Rome Train Station.  Sit back and relax as you take a first class train from Rome to Naples.  Once in Naples, your private driver will bring you from Naples Train Station to your Sorrento hotel.

Afternoon at your leisure.

No holiday in Sorrento would be complete without a trip to the evocative Island of Capri. Sail across the bay of Sorrento for the start of an unforgettable day. For such a small an island, about 4 miles long and 2 miles wide, Capri has had much said, sung and written about it.
Enjoy a guided walking tour of Capri with their chic town centers, shops, hotels and restaurants along winding streets. The main square Piazza Umberto I has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes where you can sit and watch the world drift by. Leading off the square are medieval-looking alleyways and arcades full of shops selling the handicrafts of the island, clothing, jewelry made from coral and gold, shoes and ceramics. Then, head south to admire the famed Faraglioni Rocks.
At last, meet your guide again and enjoy a boat ride around the island to admire its splendid caves before heading back to Sorrento.

*This activity is only available from March to October. You may enjoy a free day or select a different activity in the months the excursion to Capri doesn't operate.

Enjoy the free day to explore Sorrento as you wish!  You can also add any of our Day Tours in Sorrento to this itinerary (not included in the package price).

Enjoy a full day tour in the Southern food and wine valley with visits to two local factories and one winery followed by some tastings (salami, wine and cheese).

Your Italy Vacation has come to an end as you transfer from your hotel to Naples Airport and head back home.
