In this private full day tour you will experience the best of the Western coast of Sicily, an area famous for the Marsala wines, salt and extra-virgin olive oil. Travel through the Salt Way Road, admiring the gorgeous landscape of the Stagnone Lagoon Nature Reserve, a marine area with salt ponds and white windmills and discover how the salt has been harvested up to now. You will stop at a winery to taste some of the sweet and dry fortified Marsala wines (similar to Port and Sherry) and at an Olive Oil Producer for a light lunch based on cheese, cold cuts, olives and bread. End your tour visiting independently the captivating archeological site in Segesta. Discover the ancient ruins at your leisure, appreciating the ancient majesty of the Doric temple, a 5th-century structure that boasts panoramic views of the undulating valleys.
