Availability: Monday thru Friday
Duration: 8 hours
Take a full day excursion to discover the secret medieval villages of the Italian Riviera: Noli and Finalborgio; all beautiful in their own way and waiting to be treasured. You will have the chance to discover the ancient monuments, magnificent rolling hills, blooming gardens, rustic hamlets, and sandy beaches of these hidden gems. Then, you will travel to a Chinotto grove, protected by the Slow Food Presidia to prevent extinction for this precious citrus fruit. This bitter orange grows only in the Italian Riviera and was the main source of vitamins for sailors in the past. The Chinotto can be transformed by ancient recipes into jams and liquors. You will hear about Roberto’s (the producer) family story as he shows you his amazing grove, and you will taste their delicious products, made by Roberto’s wife and daughter-in-law.
If you are staying at a centrally located hotel in Savona, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. Otherwise, a meeting point will be arranged.
