Enjoy a delicious full day food tour including exclusive visits to two award-winning cheese and prosciutto producers and a tasty light lunch at a mountain-view restaurant.
The first stop on your food tour is at the Marco d’Oggiono family-owned prosciutto factory, founded in 1945. Here you will be welcomed with a tasting of their top quality sliced meats followed by an exclusive visit to their "prosciutto aging rooms".
After a 30-minute drive along the mountain roads you will reach another small town in the Valsassina Valley and visit a boutique dairy and cheese factory.
This factory has been operating in Pasturo since 1960 and produces an internationally award-winning range of hand-made dairy and goat milk cheeses that have become Italian classics.
Here you will visit their local production site and taste their top quality cheeses, such as gorgonzola, latteria, primo sale and goat milk products. A light lunch including risotto or a pasta dish paired with a glass of wine will be served at a beautiful setting with mountain view.
