This guided wine tour and fully supported bike ride in the Tuscan countryside begins with a 25-minute shuttle ride out of the busy city center to reach the starting point for your bike ride.

The guide will meet you with your bike and everything else you need. Then, ride your 24-speed bike along the picturesque roadways, lined with olive groves and vineyards. The bike itinerary includes flat, downhill and uphill sections.

You will visit two wineries, completely different in their settings and approach: a famous winery with its Renaissance Villa and setting, producing some of the most renowned wines in the world, and a fascinating family-run organic farm and winery.

Once back to the ride starting location, you will enjoy a typical Tuscan lunch in a restaurant, tasting the incredible wines of the wineries you just visited (both wineries boast international recognition and rewards), and learning about wine pairing.

Then, head back to the shuttle to Florence with a few stops for panoramic photo opportunities.

Mileage: 10 miles round-trip (about 15 km)
Terrain: Mostly paved back roads with very little traffic
Difficulty: Intermediate (It can also be done in Easy Mode, mostly downhill, using the minivan support to help in the few short uphill sections)

Meeting point will be at a central location. Details will be provided in final documents.
