Your guide will recount mind-blowing details, anecdotes, and clue-filled history that will make you see Florence in a unique and unforgettable way.

You will be introduced Botticelli’s painting entitled Inferno and get an in-depth description of the connection this has with Dante and the history of the Divine Comedy. The tour will also visit the Baptistery, the Paradise Gates and the Duomo of Florence where you will be enlightened with knowledge of the symbols and codes as described in the book.

The highlight of the tour will be at Palazzo Vecchio, Town hall of Florence where faith and science join together with breathless revelations. Here, you will admire the Hall of Geographical Maps, the Capriate, the balconies and Dante’s death Mask. You will also go through the beautiful “Salone dei 500” and the secret passages of the Duke of Athens.

This is a great tour that will allow you to learn more about art and the rich history of Florence while learning about its protagonists of the past, such as Dante, Botticelli, Michelangelo and Giorgio Vasari through the lens of mystery and symbology.
