Enjoy a cooking course in a typical 18th century home and learn how to cook typical local recipes! Today you will meet your chef directly in Palermo city center and walk with her to the outdoor market through many stands with fresh fish, fruit, vegetables, spices and other local food. Under the guidance of your chef, you will select the freshest seasonal ingredients that you will use during the cooking class to make a delicious meal.
On the way to the cooking class you'll enjoy a pleasant walk through Palermo admiring its stunning, Baroque architecture. Palermo is without a doubt one of the most interesting artistic cities of the Mediterranean Sea.
Arriving at the house, you are welcomed to the kitchen with a refreshing glass of Sicilian white wine while you unpack your market purchases and discuss the menu that lay ahead of you. Get ready to cook two main courses (a pasta dish and a dish based on meat or fish), Caponata - the most famous of Sicilian side dishes - and a dessert. At the end of the cooking course, enjoy your own made lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine.
Meeting point will be at a central location. Details will be provided in final documents.
