While in Capri your mind should be focused on the binary of surf and turf. Whether you choose to spend your day lounging on the beach or peacefully exploring the town center, luxury and beauty will accompany your every move. Capri's beaches are largely rocky due to a mountainous topography; but this rugged terrain lends itself beautifully to its handful of sandy beaches, making for an untamed, dramatic site for sitting back, sun bathing, and swimming. These beaches are almost always private, but entrance fees are minimal and include use of a cabana, lounge chair, and a towel; and bar service makes enjoying a great bottle of wine on a scenic beach a very possible reality! Swimming in the mild azure Mediterranean is particularly delightful, especially when you are able to swim in the coves adjacent to Capri's famous natural landmark, the Blue Grotto. A very worthwhile activity is to explore these majestic underwater caverns during low tide in a guided motor boat. But, as is natural after a day of sunning and swimming, it is time to hit town. Before making your way to the town center for a drink, take a relaxed promenade through a scenic garden and contemplate the flora and the breathtaking view. Just as hunger begins to knock on your door, find a suitable restaurant, one that is both chic and traditional, and give your senses the culinary treat they deserve!
