Sometimes prospective vacationers worry whether a particular destination offers enough attractions to do and see to sustain an entire vacation. As far as Lake Como goes, don't let that thought enter your mind for a second! Sure, if you have your heart set on seeing Italy's other fabulous destinations and only have a moment to enjoy the Lake's charm, admiring Como with a glass of wine or relaxed promenade might just be the most memorable part of your trip. But if you really want to dive headlong into the wonders of Lake Como, there is enough here to last you decades (at least)! On one day you can take a voyage around the lake-maybe stopping off for a meal, beach visit, or shopping. Another day you could devote to the town of Como, visit its museums, gardens, monuments, and, of course, take advantage of its silk industry heritage. This is when you visit the elegant lakeside towns including Bellagio and Cernobbio. Take a day trip or, as we suggest, spend a handful of nights in each. These towns are among Italy's most lovely gems with their prolific culture, scenic beauty, and luxuries. Of course, at this point, we have spent almost two weeks enjoying Como and haven't even scratched its surface!
