We'll book your passage and your Host will personally escort you to the train station to see you off. You'll be met by your new host in the next city right on the train platform. Then, you'll be accompanied for check-in at your next hotel.

 

 

 

Your 10 Day Classic Italy Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday
Depart USA for your overnight flight to Italy.

Day 2 - Sunday
Arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport. After clearing customs you'll be met for your transfer to the First Class Hotel Bonvecchiati, just steps from St. Marks Square.

Day 3 - Monday
Having a full day in Venice is the envy of any world traveler! After your included buffet breakfast, your host will have suggestions for activities today. You can sightsee, relax, or just wander the charming canals and bridges of Venice.

Be sure to ask your host about a free boat trip to the island of Murano for an amazing visit to the glass blowers factory and dazzling showroom!

Day 4 - Tuesday
After this morning's buffet breakfast, we'll say ‘arrivederci' to Venice.

Our First Class train ride to Florence takes less than 3 hours. Upon arrival, we'll meet out Florence host and check into the First Class Londra Hotel in the heart of town.

Day 5 - Wednesday
Florence - the fountainhead of the Renaissance; city of Dante, Boccaccio, Botticelli and da Vinci! Spend some time with your ItalyVacations host for activity suggestions. The Londra Hotel is so conveniently located you need only walk out the front door, with map in hand, to enjoy this beautiful city.

Day 6 - Thursday
Must see sights in Florence include the ‘Duomo' (cathedral), the Baptistery with it's amazing ‘Doors of Paradise', the Academia featuring Michelangelo's David, the Uffizi Gallery, the Pitti Palace, and of course . . . the famed Ponte Vecchio bridge.

Day 7 - Friday
This morning we're off to Rome! You're host will see you off for the approximately 4 hour train ride to Rome.

You'll be met upon arrival and transferred to the First Class, Beverly Hills Hotel. Your Rome host will give you an informative orientation of this historic capital city.

Day 8 - Saturday
Weekends in Rome are special - quieter, with less traffic and congestion than during the week. However, everything is open, including stores, museums and churches.

An easy, ‘walkable' city, one strategy is to fountain-hop. How about walking from the Spanish Steps, to Piazza Barberini, to Piazza Navona, to the famed Trevi Fountain? You'll be ready for a plate of some great local pasta with wine!

Day 9 - Sunday
Sunday mornings in Rome are magical. If the Pope is in town you can experience his weekly blessing in St. Peter's Square.

As this is your last day, be sure to ask your host for help in maximizing your sightseeing. Or, just relax!

Day 10 - Monday
This morning we'll provide a private transfer to Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Airport for your flight home.

No tears . . . that coin in the Trevi Fountain has insured your return. Hopefully with ItalyVacations or Perillo Tours!
