14 Day North Classic Starting in Milan Itinerary
Day 1 - USA Departure
Day 2 -Arrive in Milan - Transfer to Lugano, Switzerland - Afternoon of Leisure - Dinner in Hotel
Upon arriving to Milan airport, a Perillo representative will be waiting to greet you. A complimentary transfer will take you to your Lugano hotel at 10am or 12pm.
Day 3 -Lugano - Panoramic Lake Cruise - Dinner Out
This morning we'll enjoy a guided walking tour through the traffic-free historic center. Weather permitting, we'll enjoy a panoramic cruise on Lake Lugano.
Day 4 - Lugano - Verona - Venice - Dinner in Hotel
We're off to Venice. But on the way we'll enjoy a quick stop in romantic Verona to see Juliet's Balcony.
Day 5 - Venice Sightseeing - Gondola Ride - Dinner Out
This morning we'll meet our guide for a walking tour of St. Mark's Piazza, the great Byzantine Basilica di San Marco, and an inside look of the Majestic Doge's Palace.
Day 6 - Venice - Padova - Florence - Dinner in Hotel
We're off to Florence with a fascinating stop along the way: Padova. Next to Florence. Home of Dante, Boccaccio, Botticelli, da Vinci, and the best gelato in Italy.
Day 7 - Florence Sightseeing - Free Afternoon - Dinner Out
This morning our city sightseeing will include the breathtaking view atop Piazzale Michelangelo, followed by a tour of the Academy of Fine Arts,the majestic Duomo (Cathedral), Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria and then to Santa Croce Church for an outside view of Michelangelo's final resting place.
Day 8 - Florence - Pisa - Florence - Dinner Out - Today we are off to see Pisa. Here we will visit The Leaning Tower of Pisa, the beautiful Cathedral and Baptistery.
Day 9 - Florence - Sorrento - Dinner at Hotel
Our journey to Sorrento takes us through the rolling hills, scenic vineyards, and post-card perfect vistas of Umbria and Tuscany.
Day 10 - Sorrento -Capri -Sorrento - Dinner Out
Today, we cross the Bay of Naples to the world's most enchanting island, Capri.
Day 11 - Sorrento - Pompeii - Naples - Rome - Dinner in Hotel - Gala Dinner Dance
Today we off for Rome with stops in Pompeii and then Naples.
Day 12 - Rome Sightseeing - Afternoon at Leisure - Dinner Out
This morning we visit Vatican City including the Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica. Also, we will board our coach for a panoramic tour of Imperial Rome including the Colosseum.
Day 13 - Rome Sightseeing - Afternoon at Leisure
This morning we visit Vatican City again and begin at the Vatican Museums and then onto St. Peter's Basilica.
