Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Departure from USA JFK airport to Naples via Rome.

Other cities are available - please inquire for cost

Day 2 - Arrival at Naples Airport
Transfer to the hotel by private coach bus.
Walking tour of Sorrento to relax.
Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Overnight in hotel in Sorrento

Day 3 - POMPEII & THE BEAUTIES OF NAPLES: HISTORICAL SITES and VIEWS
In the morning visit of Pompeii with a licensed guide 
Transfer to Naples and pizza lunch.  The chef will introduce the secrets of making the original Neopalitan pizza ... yummy!
Continue the tour exploring the town of Naples: The Royal Palace, San Carlo Theatre, Galleria Umberto, Piazza del Gesu' and the Old Greek Roman Town.

Overnight in hotel in Sorrento

Day 4 - POSITANO, AMALFI, CERTOSA DI PADULA, VALLO DI DIANO
Transfer to Apulia.
The route to Puglia will offer the opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful town of South Italy. 
First en route stop is Positano, to enjoy the view of the village from the top.
Then, stop in Amalfi and visit of the Old Town
Continue to Vallo di Diano
Arrive in Padula and lunch in a farm house
Guided Visit of Chartusia in Padula
Continue to hotel

Day 5 - MATERA and ALBEROBELLO
Departure to Matera.

Continue to Alberobello. Upon arrival visit of the town that's listed as Unesco World Heritage since its unique architecture of the trulli.

Day 6 - LECCE AND THE BAROQUE IN SOUTH ITALY

Day 7 - PADRE PIO'S TOWN AND THE MAGIC NATURE OF GARGANO
Breakfast
Visit of San Giovanni Rotondo, the town of Padre Pio and discover the magnificent nature of Gargano,
The Gargano is a promontory of stunning beaches, cliffs and forest on the Adriatic coast, admired for its rugged beauty and rough, unspoilt appeal.
Gargano is known for its mountains and the Parco Nazionale del Gargano, but even more for its 200 kilometres long coastline. A coast of sandy beaches, pine woods, bays, coves, cliffs, dunes, caves, and not least the famous faraglioni, white rocks emerging from the turquoise blue of the sea in the Baia dei Mergoli (also called Baia dei Faraglioni) and the Baia delle Zagare.

Day 8 - COUNTRYSIDE OF APULIA, WINE TASTING AND FOOD EXPERIENCE
Breakfast
Apulia is considered the area of Italy with the best production of quality food such as oil, grapes, soil, tomatoes, and much more. Today discover the countryside of Apulia.
The day will begin at Leone de Castris winery, maybe the most beautful in South Italy.
Here, in 1665 Duke Oronzo, Earl of Lemos, gave birth to the company. He got enchanted by this landscape and decided to sell all his properties in Spain in order to draw the best from the Salentine rich terroir.
Continue to Francavilla Fontana.
Lunch in a local agriturismo with cheese and honey tasting.
Return to hotel.
