The first thing which strikes one on arriving at the Relais Villa Oriana in Sorrento is the splendid view of the Gulf of Naples; in fact the Relais is located near the center but in a position which dominates the entire Gulf from a height. It's the perfect place to relax, if possible on the magnificent panoramic terrace with sunroof and whirlpool, immersed in the perfume of lemon trees.

Transfer to Vico Equense in the evening for a romantic dinner at the Osteria Torre Ferano, an old cellar which has been completely renovated respecting the original architecture, including a hall with open fireplace and a terrace sheltered by vines. The owners aim for quality and serve specialties of the Mediterranean cuisine, from fish roulade to ravioli with prawns and Sorrento lemons, from chestnut polenta with wild boar sauce to “maritata” soup, not to leave out their own homemade cheese plait and “monk's” provolone.
