Individual Train Tickets - All Aboard!

Purchasing a train ticket in Italy is a great way to get from one city to another. Train stations are city center as opposed to taking a flight. You have no hassle of getting to an airport so it is a huge time saver, and cost saver. Train travel is the best way to see Italy.
Relax as the train takes you through the scenic country sides and through small villages. Read a book, get some refreshments or take in the sights, its all up to you.
Purchasing a ticket however, does not mean you have a seat reservation. If you do not have a reservation, you will receive a fine for boarding the train. We always suggest buying a train ticket and a seat reservation together.
The only time you should buy a reservation only is when you already have an Italian rail pass. If you have purchased a railpass, you only need to buy the seat reservation.
Reservations Only for Railpass Holders
Now that you have your railpass, you still need to make reservations for the specific train/time you will travel. Reservations can be made at your train station in Italy or through the train ticket form below.
To assure your train accommodations, we recommend you to make a reservation. A reservation will ensure that you have guaranteed accommodations on a particular train, on a given day and time.
If you still need to buy your railpass, choose the links below for passes. These are sold by passenger type, so please choose Adult, Saver (when more than 2 will travel together all the time, or Youth for those travelers under 24 years of age). If you have multiple passenger types, start with the first type and choose more in the train purchase cart.
