Welcome to Montefalco, the beautiful village which houses an art gallery inside the 14th century church of St Francis.
Traditional dinner at L’Alchimista, a winery situated in the main square in an ex art gallery; here Signora Patrizia reigns in the kitchen and she will delight guests with her excellent dishes, prepared using products from the territory. The wine list is a strong point, with an ample selection from the cellars which produce the local Sagrantino.
Overnight in an oasis of peace surrounded by majestic trees in Villa Panbuffetti which was once the habitual residence of Gabriele D’Annunzio. End in style with a guided tour and wine tasting at the Scacciadiavoli Estate, where organic Montefalco Rosso and Sagrantino Passito are produced as well as the recent addition, a Spumante Brut Metodo Classico sparkling white wine.
