Welcome to Castiglione del Lago and the family-run Madrevite estate, which is immersed in the greenery of the Umbrian countryside in a dominant position overlooking Lake Trasimeno and the Valdichiana valley.
Visit the estate and taste their products: DOC Umbrian wines, extra-virgin olive oil and the Trasimeno bean, a Slow Food Presidium. Overnight at the Hotel Fortuna, in a 14th century building where history and art meet. It is situated in the heart of Perugia, the splendid medieval city surrounded by Etruscan walls and famous for its chocolate.
To finish, a quick visit to Magione to see the Castle of the Knights of Malta which dates back to 1150–1170 but underwent mutations up until 1471. Tasting of extra-virgin olive oil and DOC and IGT Umbrian wines at the Castle cellar.
