Not far from Palermo, in Contrada di Molara, is the Hotel Baglio Conca d'Oro, born out of the ruins of an 18th century paper mill. The attentive restoration gave new life to the building, keeping the history of its walls and halls alive. The rooms too, elegantly decorated with 18th century Sicilian furnishings, help recreate the atmosphere which recalls Lampedusa's “Leopard”.
Dinner will be organized in the Trattoria Primavera, in one of the most charming squares in the old city of Palermo, between the “ancient Cassaro” - the traditional name for Corso Vittorio Emanuele high street - and Piazza dei Quattro Canti.
