Welcome to the Grand Hotel La Chiusa di Chietri, not far from the UNESCO World Heritage “trulli” (small round houses with a conical roof) in Alberobello. The hotel is set deep in a 10-hectare Mediterranean park, typical of the natural landscape of Puglia.
In the evening, transfer to Cisternino and the Taverna della Torre, an ancient building where the bare stone and terracotta floors ensure a rustic but welcoming atmosphere. Regulars to this tavern can savor traditional dishes such as peppers stuffed with white fava beans, baby potato gnocchi with canestrato cheese fondue, “gnummarieddi” roulades and many other specialties of the Puglia cuisine.
