Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival
Arrive and check-in to the Slow Food Albergo dell’Agenzia in Pollenzo (Bra), a splendid hotel complex created from the structure which also houses the University of Gastronomical Sciences. Time to relax. A traditional Piedmontese dinner in the hotel restaurant featuring some Slow Food Presidia products accompanied by a selection of Piedmontese wines.

Day 2 - Pollenzo, Nizza Monferrato
Late morning visit to the cellars of the Pollenzo Wine Bank, with a guided tasting of three wines combined with a selection of local and Slow Food Presidium products.
In the afternoon, visit the Nizza Monferrato Regional Winery located in the cellars of the 17th century palace of Baron Crova where over 600 labels of prestigious local wines are stored, including the Barbaresco DOCG. Introductory talk and tasting of a selection of wines. The winery is the seat of the Nicean hills Slow Food Convivium and is also the Presidium of the Cardo Gobbo (“crooked cardoon”), the main ingredient in the famous Bagna Cauda (literally “hot sauce” – a soup made using garlic, oil, anchovies and vegetables).
Dinner in the winery restaurant Vineria della Signora in Rosso with a menu dedicated to typical recipes of the region and seasonal produce.
