Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival
Arrive and check-in to the Slow Food Albergo dell’Agenzia in Pollenzo (Bra), a splendid hotel complex created from the structure which also houses the University of Gastronomical Sciences. Time to relax. A traditional Piedmontese dinner in the hotel restaurant featuring some Slow Food Presidia products accompanied by a selection of Piedmontese wines.

Day 2 - The Barolo vineyards, Castagnole Lanze, Grinzane Cavour, Asti, Pollenzo
In the morning, visit Giorgio Rivetti’s renowned La Spinetta Estate, set among the splendid Barolo hills for a taste of their exclusive wines accompanied by some typical local produce. Free time to visit the Grinzane Cavour Castle and some gourmand shopping at the Piedmont Regional Winery in Grinzane.
A late afternoon visit Asti and the ancient confectionary, Torronificio Barbero, to sample their Gianduiotti chocolate and nougat. Some free time to wander around the city. Back to Pollenzo and the Slow Food Wine Bank, visit the cellars and laboratory and taste five of their wines accompanied by caprini di Roccaverano cheese, Piedmontese cold cuts and salami and Cherasco chocolate.

Breakfast and check-out. Before departure there will be an opportunity to order a Basket of Slow Food products.
