Designed by Vico Magistretti and preserving the poetry of the area between the white Apuan Alps and the nearby sea, the Locanda dell’Angelo welcomes its guests to Ameglia. The furnishings are classical and timeless and are complemented by works of contemporary art, no two rooms are the same. The hotel is set in an large garden, where olive trees and holm oaks surround a white marble pool with whirlpool.
In the historical center of Montemarcello di Ameglia, in the little square where the church of San Francesco all'Immacolata is located, among the quaint houses and colorful streets, enjoy a traditional dinner in the Trattoria Dai Pironcelli. The small, welcoming, softly lit restaurant, offers traditional dishes such as tortelli pasta with herbs, pesto lasagna, dried cod cooked in milk or Ligurian rabbit.
