In Castiglione in Teverina, in the hills dominating the Teverina Valley and the Alviano Oasis, is the Tre Botti Agricultural Estate. Staying here guarantees a full immersion in the Slow Food philosophy. The Tre Botti bed & breakfast sits on top of the hill which overlooks the valley and is located along the Teverina wine and food route.
The tasting lunch will be characterized by typical products from northern Lazio: salamis, cheeses, bruschette bread and three types of wine. Travel to Viterbo in the evening for dinner at the Trattoria Porta Romana, famous for its typical Viterbese home cooking. Among the dishes on offer are: “lombrichelli” pasta alla matriciana (tomato sauce with bacon), “cavatelli” pasta with vegetables, “priest hair” pasta stuffed with cauliflower, walnuts and ricotta cheese, tortelloni pasta with Portobello mushrooms and herb soup.
