Day by Day Itinerary:
Day 1 - Arrival
Arrive at the hotel and check-in. Free time for a short stroll through the center followed by a traditional dinner at the Osteria Piccolo Napoli.

Day 2 - Palermo, the Madonie Park: Polizzi Generosa
Morning free to walk around Palermo and visit the historical Vucciria market. Late morning departure for Polizzi Generosa, inside the Madonie Park, where lunch will be dedicated to the Madonite cuisine and local produce – including the Slow Food Presidia Fagiolo Badda and Provola cheese – at the Trattoria Itria. Some free time to stroll around Pollizzi Generosa, a little medieval town that boasts an extraordinary amount of Norman art. An afternoon visit to La Manna di Zabbra farm, to hear the history of how their ancient desserts and sweets are made and sample the Manna (Slow Food Presidium) and other local products.

Day 3 - Erice, Trapani, Contrada Policazzo
Morning in Erice, a magnificent medieval town set in a splendid location. Stop at an ancient patisserie Maria Grammatico that offers recipes from the Antico Convento (Old Monastery), try some of the most popular local delicacies such as the traditional pastries made from almonds and candied lemon, the Zibbibo wine and the “Brutti ma buoni” biscuits. Free time to wander around the heart of the old town center.
Departure to Trapani: free time for some gourmet shopping and to visit Trapani’s oldest bakery, La Rinascente, where they make some typical local delights such as the Savoia and Cassata. An afternoon visit to the "Baglio Ingardia" Farm and Winery, situated in Contrada Porticalazzo, in the fertile countryside of Paceco at the foot of Mount Erice, in the hear of the DOP Trapani Valley. Run by Mariella Ingardia and her son Salvatore, exclusive extra virgin olive oils and the "Nero D'Avola" IGP wine of Sicily have been produced here and sold for well over a hundred years. On the property a majestic 17th century "Baglio" can be found – a typical Sicilian structure which serves the farm. Walk around the winery and taste the oil and Nero d’Avola wine accompanied by some typical local produce.
