Leave no stone unturned as you explore every corner of the Vatican.  This guided, 2-part tour leads you through the major Basilicas, the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, the Holy Stairs and more!  You will also have a chance to enjoy lunch and rest in between the morning and afternoon tours.  Wear comfortable walking shoes and be mindful of the dress codes for entrance to the Basilicas and Vatican Museums (details below).

Meeting Point*:  Both the morning and afternoon tours have the same meeting point. At the bottom of the steps across the street from the Entrance of the Vatican Museums. The steps are located right next to Caffè Vaticano on the corner of Viale Vaticano and Via Tunisi.  The closest Metro stop is Line A (Ottaviano - Musei Vaticani).

The morning service ends at St. Peter's Basilica / St. Peter's Square and the afternoon service ends at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. 

There is a 1 hour lunch break. Lunch is not included.

Part 1 - Morning Meeting Time:  8:30am - Tour begins promptly at 8:50am*
*Beginning April 1, 2012 Departure Time moves to 8:30AM.  Please be ready at 8:15am

Part 2 - Afternoon Meeting Time: 1:45pm - Tour begins promptly at 2:00pm

Dress Code: Entrance into the Basilica's and the Vatican Museums require a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees must be covered, no low cut or sleeveless tops or shorts for both men and women. Clients that do not adhere to the dress code may not be permitted entry to the Basilica's or the Vatican Museums. Dark Rome cannot be held responsible for entry denied due to improper dress.

Please Note:  Clients must arrive at the designated meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled tour time and present their tour voucher to the tour coordinator/guide. Late arrivals will not be able to catch up with the group and no refunds will be given for those who arrive after departure time.
